Inclarity plc, a next-generation voice, data and mobile solutions provider, announces the launch of Broadband Telephony 2.0. The new version includes geographical number allocation to broadband phones, enabling users to keep their existing numbers and receive incoming calls exactly as they do with standard BT lines. This development means that Broadband Telephony now makes PBXs and BT lines redundant, and after 18 months of development, the service is now ready to market.

Advanced Features
In addition to providing a full range of advanced PBX features, Broadband Telephony also offers unified messaging with advanced voice mail and fax to email capabilities embedded in Outlook, multi line support, and a variety of call management capabilities, such as follow-me, do not disturb and black list functions. The system is provided complete with an operator console that uses computer telephony integration to simplify the management and administration of incoming calls.
Behind the Scenes - IP Centrex
The technology behind Broadband Telephony is a carrier class, IP Centrex switch. The switch is the first of its kind to be installed in the UK, enabling Inclarity to offer Broadband Telephony without the need for customers to purchase and host expensive IP PBXs. Moreover, as the technology behind the solution is located at Inclarity’s technical centre, rather than in hardware sold to the customer, it is inherently scalable, with automatic ugrades that never require the purchase of new hardware. |
